Rebels to the roots. Independent female-owned and female-made, Rebel Rebel is the project of winemaker Kayleigh Hattingh, born in the chaos of the 2020 vintage to produce premium minimal-intervention wines from site-specific vineyards perched on the slopes of the Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch.
Kayleigh's approach is uncompromising: the wines are made naturally, with no alterations or adjustments. Just pure terroir. From her flagship Syrah and Old Vine Colombar to her Méthode Ancestrale Verdelho and Cinsaut Pet-Nats, every bottle is a direct expression of the vineyard and the vintage. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
Rebel Rebel represents a new generation of South African winemaking that refuses to play by conventional rules.
